Dressing Rooms MTV EMA 2012 (1)

Photographing backstage at the MTV EMAs during the show set-up, photographer Robin Mellor focused on aspects of the event that are rarely seen. From the technical foundations to the delivery of costumes and even the District MTV interview area, the story is an intimate behind the scenes portrait.

Graduating from The London College of Fashion in 2007, Robin captures people with a unique and knowing aesthetic; accompanied by an architectural approach to the environments he immerses himself in.

Robin has shot for the likes of Esquire, Wonderland, The Guardian and Tank magazine, alongside working on multiple still and moving-image personal projects.
