In this exclusive preview from Hunger Issue 5, District MTV found out what bands The Mortal Instruments movie star Jamie Campbell Bower listened to growing up, what actor Rupert Grint is up to now that he is no longer playing Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films and some of Russell Tovey's wildest drunken antics. All three appear in the new issue, which feature Rebel Wilson, Bryan Ferry, Debbie Harry and Chiwetel Ejiofor on four different covers.

Alongside all the Rankin-shot in the 'I Dare You' series of images, Rupert discusses his upcoming exploits in Hollywood. "I've got a couple of things coming out at the end of this year. The first one is a film called The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman in which I play an aspiring porn star. That's with Shia LaBeouf. And there's also CBGB, which is about the New York club CBGB that discovered loads of punk bands [...] I'm always looking for weird experiences and something completely different, and these two films definitely tick those boxes for me."

Jamie Campbell Bower reveals how he uses music to bring people together when he's shooting a movie. "You always have fun on set. You're always going to have a common bond. There's always going to be music you can relate to – growing up my biggest bands were SUM 41 and Blink 182 – so there's an admission for you" he told Hunger.

Finally, the Being Human star Russell Tovey admitted to some of his favourite drunken activities: "I've definitely dared people to do things in the past. The generic "I dare you to down this cup of Fairy washing-up liquid and bleach" – things like that. The drunker you get, the wilder the dares get."

The new issue of Hunger is out on 19 September
