The glittering evening saw Jennifer Lopez perform with Mary J Blige, Madonna address the crowds at Twickenham Stadium about the rights of women and Salma Hayek and Frida Giannini announce Beyonce, their co-founder of the Chime for Change foundation. Queen Bey appeared with husband Jay-Z for 'Crazy in Love'. Princess Beatrice was spotted rocking out in the crowd to 'Single Ladies'.

With most of the celebrities wearing Gucci (naturally) we were on hand to get the style info from the stars themselves. On the red carpet, Haim revealed that baby sister Alana takes the longest to get ready, and that "J-lo's dressing room is like Fort Knox!" before busting out the 'Single Ladies' dance and rapping the whole of 'Jumpin' Jumpin'. Freida Pinto confessed that her style icons are "Audrey Hepburn and now, Gwen Stefani", while Rita Ora told District MTV that "just smiling! Everything looks better when you smile!" is her greatest beauty tip. Blake Lively, wearing a beautiful white Gucci mini dress (of course) gave us the inner scoop on her red carpet style. "Just start with amazing shoes. If you look down and everything looks good, then the rest of the outfit will work." Jessica Chastain's crystal Louboutin stilettos shimmered under the spotlights and Iggy Azalea told District about her recent experience on her debut shoot with British Vogue, which will hit newsstands in September.
